We operate three funds with available funds to invest and over $25m under management and are raising Fund 4 targeting $35m to expand our investment pool. We receive support from the NZ governments Callaghan Innovation as a technology incubator, in which we gain direct access to the repayable loan scheme. We also receive access to the Pre-incubation grant scheme to enable assistance, both funding and advice, to companies and technologies who are still developing their business case.

NZGCP was established by the Crown to address the capital and investor capability gaps in New Zealand’s technology start-up ecosystem. We’re building towards a self-sustaining early-stage capital market and partner with other investors to support Kiwi start-up companies and give them the leg up that they need to succeed. To do this, our Aspire fund invests directly into high-growth tech companies at proof of concept, seed, and early expansion investment stages. Whilst Elevate is a $300m fund of funds programme that invests into venture capital funds and is aimed at filling the Series A / B capital gap.
