Type One Energy Group is mission-driven to provide sustainable, affordable fusion power to the world. The company was formed in 2019 by a team of globally-recognized fusion scientists with a strong track record of building state-of-art stellarator fusion machines, together with veteran business leaders experienced in successfully scaling companies and commercializing energy technologies. Type One Energy applies proven advanced manufacturing methods, modern computational physics and high-field superconducting magnets to develop its optimized stellarator fusion energy system. Its FusionDirect development program pursues the lowest-risk, shortest-schedule path to a fusion power plant over the coming decade, using a partner-intensive and capital-efficient strategy.

Based in the Netherlands, New Zealand, France and the United States, Dawn Aerospace’s mission is to enable the next generation of space users by providing dramatically more scalable and sustainable ways to access and move around in space.
Spaceplane
Dawn’s suborbital spaceplanes operate much like a fleet of aircraft, taking off and landing horizontally at airports.
The Aurora is a suborbital plane designed to fly 100 km above the Earth and aims to be the first vehicle to access space multiple times per day. An active test flight program of the Aurora spaceplane demonstrator has seen 60+
flights completed. In 2024 the Aurora broke the sound barrier, reaching Mach 1.12 at 82,500 feet, and set a record for the fastest climb to 20 kilometers (65,600 feet).
In-space propulsion
Dawn is now a leading supplier of turnkey green propulsion systems for NanoSat, MicroSat, ESPA, and ESPA Grande-class satellites, as well as actively developing refueling in space with its Loop program. Dawn propulsion technology often achieves superior performance than traditional hydrazine systems by using a unique, green-propellant combination; nitrous oxide and propylene. Having proven this technology on orbit for both CubeSats and small satellites, Dawn propulsion systems have now flown on Electron, Vega, Falcon 9, and Soyuz launchers with over 200 thrusters in space across 50+ satellites and counting.

⬇️ A bit about us ⬇️
🌏 At Basis, we work tremendously hard to radically accelerate the clean-energy revolution. We want to create an enduring positive impact for the planet, the people who inhabit it, and the future generations who will depend on it.
🚀 Our first leap towards fulfilling this purpose is redesigning the electrical infrastructure that homes depend on. Its a small step in our master plan but an important one if society is to accelerate efforts to combat climate change and dampen rising household costs simultaneously.
🌈 To get there, we are developing highly desirable hardware products by applying systems-level thinking to solve complex, multidimensional, and human-centered problems. So far, it has been an enjoyable but extremely challenging journey.
🤗 But innovative hardware will not be our only trick. Basis will redefine the homes interface, sit at the forefront of ambient computing, and effortlessly bring human warmth to tepid technology.
⬇️ Come and join an awesome team, solving challenging problems! ⬇️
🌚 We are hiring rapidly in Operations, Engineering, Embedded Development, System Architecture, Software Architecture, and Data Science.

Foundry Lab is pioneering Digital Metal Casting. The Foundry Lab System produces production quality cast metal parts in hours, not weeks, in-house. This approach enables hands-free casting, leapfrogging 3D metal printing to rapidly produce real parts with functionally equivalent properties to traditional cast metal at a fraction of the time, cost and environmental impact.

We create beautiful hands.
StretchSense motion capture gloves use capacitive sensing systems to deliver unparalleled hand and finger tracking that faithfully records a performers hand expression and nuance.
Combined with our pose detection centered software solution, Hand Engine, you can capture nuance such as knuckle bend and metacarpal distortion directly from your performer. This gives you a significant headstart on your production pipeline by saving weeks of clean up time.

Identifying Vision Problems in Young Children
Many countries have local and national vision screening programmes for pre-school children around the age of 4. The aim of vision screening is to identify amblyopia (lazy eye) and vision loss. Identifying vision problems as early possible is important because undetected vision problems can reduce school achievement, harm the development of hand-eye coordination and lead to a lifelong reduction in vision.
The recommended gold standard measurement for vision screening in most countries is visual acuity. However, many existing screening tools are letter and picture chart based visual acuity tests. These tests are subjective and require the child to give a verbal response, which in this age group is often difficult and leads to unreliable results. Other objective and easier to use tests only measure risk factors of amblyopia, not amblyopia or vision loss directly.
To overcome these problems, Objective Acuity is developing the first objective visual acuity screening test for pre-school children. Our mission is to identify vision problems earlier and better than existing screening tools today.
