Our mission is to make checking-in at the doctor as easy as scanning a QR code. And in so doing, deliver a streamlined experience for people, better continuity of care, and reduced friction and costs for health care providers and payers. The Smart Check-In model lets patients check-in with a QR code and share their current coverage information, ID, contact info... That information is immediately available to be ingested into the provider’s electronic health record platform in a standard digital format. No typing required. The Smart Check-In platform - based on open standards - is designed to: Make it easy for people to get a Smart ID from their health plans Make it fast and convenient to check in at participating providers Deliver a consistent, end-to-end experience across all health plans and providers Ensure reliability and scalability We designed our Public Benefit Corporation structure to serve as a trusted, neutral utility operator, able to harness the resources required to build and operate world-class technology services and governed by key ecosystem stakeholders for long-term independence and sustainability.
