Inflection Point Ventures was started in 2018 with the aim of driving exponential value creation by being India’s most accessible & efficient network connecting a diverse investor community with a carefully set of curated startups.
IPV is an early-stage angel investing platform, which provides both monetary and non-monetary support to the startups, as well as complete transparency around valuation, findings during due diligence, and personal interest (if any) to its investors.
Today, it has 14,000+ angel investors, with the community having expanded beyond CXOs to include HNIs who come from varied backgrounds, professions and areas of expertise. IPV caters to investors pan India, and overseas, giving them access to startups and deals, making the group location and region agnostic.
Since inception, we have invested in 250+ startups, with more in advanced stages of negotiations. IPV evaluation process screens startups and presents to investors only those, we feel have the potential to scale up. Till date we have considered startups spanning various industries such as Healthcare, Sports and Fitness, Retail Finance, HR, AI in hiring, Education, Supply Chain and Logistics etc, which shows that we do not have any predefined restrictions.

At Hopes, were addressing one of Indias most urgent challenges: CAREER ILLITERACY. Per reports, 93% of Indian students only know of seven career options, and 69% choose their careers based solely on parental guidance. This has led to mass degree abandonment and college dropouts among students. In short, we are wasting away potential across the nation!!
Our survey has showed that high school students face anxiety when contemplating their futures and are funneled into paths that dont align with their passions or strengths, resulting in frustration and a struggle to find fulfilling work. Our mission is to change this narrative.
Our Impact So Far:
> Empowered 3000+ students through our comprehensive career education programs
> Expanded awareness from just seven traditional careers to over 50 diverse career paths
> Conducted workshops in numerous schools receiving an average satisfaction rating of 4.8 out of 5
> Supported financially challenged students by providing scholarships and resources, helping them access quality education.
At Hopes, were combating career illiteracy, igniting ambition, making much needed mindset shifts! By offering interactive workshops, personalized guidance, and exposure to modern careers, were equipping students with the tools they need to make informed career decisions which not only builds brighter futures for them but also contributes to breaking the cycle of poverty within families.
Were proud that many students weve supported over the past decade are now contributing back to The Hopes Foundation, making us a sustainable and growing organization. Their successes are a testament to the transformative power of proper guidance and opportunities. 🌱

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) was founded in 1909 as a result of the joint efforts of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata, the Government of India, and the Maharaja of Mysore. In 1886, Jamsetji Tata conceived of a university of science that would work for the benefit of India, and in 1898 created an endowment for establishing such an institution. The Government of India then took up the effort, and, in consultation with scientists in England and in India, decided to locate the Institute in Bengaluru, where the Maharaja of Mysore, Shri Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV, donated 372 acres of land. The Institute was formally vested in 1909, the foundation stone was laid in 1911, and the first batch of students started their studies in the same year.
Over the last century, IISc has become the premier institute for advanced scientific and technological research and education in India. Beginning with 2 departments and 21 students in 1911, today IISc has 39 departments, units, or centres, 3500 students, and about 500 academic and scientific staff, supported by 600 administrative personnel. About 2200 students are in various PhD programs, almost 900 are enrolled for various Masters degrees, whereas about 400 are registered in the newly established, research oriented, four-year Bachelor of Science (Research) programme.
In recent years, the Institute has vigorously promoted interdisciplinary research. New centres such as the CiSTUP, the Robert Bosch Centre for Cyber Physical Systems and a new Centre for Brain Research (funded by a large private endowment) are expected to conduct translational research in their respective areas, in order to better connect with industry and society. With the recent construction of modern buildings, acquisition of new research facilities, and induction of a large number of new faculty members, the Institute can look forward to an era of high productivity, increasing impact, and rising prominence in the world.
