As a philanthropic capital intermediary, we bridge funders and communities, designing responsive pathways that unlock and accelerate capital to both nonprofit and for-profit ventures, projects, and funds. We help DAFs make direct investments, we help Foundations make PRIs, and we host Special Purpose Funds that aggregate capital bringing people together to move more money. We’re able to move money at accelerating speeds year over year because of our flexibility, creativity, and responsiveness, always looking for ways to say yes to impact. We recognize that there are gaps between traditional investing and traditional philanthropy and the solutions needed to solve complex problem so were dedicated to helping fill these capital gaps by collaborating with public and private funders who want to mobilize their assets into communities in creative and impactful ways. As a nonprofit and donor-advised funds provider, we offer a suite of philanthropic tools and capital-ready investment opportunities, but we specialize in partnering with funders who are looking to meet an unmet need with a creative—even unconventional—tool. For over a decade, we’ve been innovating how we invest in our community, looking across sectors and investment types for deep impact. To learn more information, visit www.impactcharitable.org.

We seek out and collaborate with community leaders, other values-aligned social change organizations, foundations, individual philanthropists, and regional SVPs to co-create an ecosystem where magic happens — the magic of increased experimentation, rapid learning, and local-regional-national-global connections. In cultivating and expanding this network together: We catalyze more resources We catalyze and mobilize financial resources — both our own and from others — applying them toward cross-sector and multi-community solutions and innovations. We shift these resources away from traditional systems that only benefit a few, and we move them to collective and collaborative approaches that benefit many. We disrupt traditional philanthropy We demonstrate ways to disrupt and shift traditional philanthropy, moving it from being individualistic and disconnected to being community-centered in addressing root causes of injustice. We are embedded in the communities we serve, co-creating with them for the long-haul, not just in single touch points. We influence change We inspire individual philanthropists to understand the priorities that communities have — and how to strategically partner, fund, and give agency to community leaders in advancing change.

Since our inception in 2000, we have believed that nothing truly great is accomplished alone. With that in mind, SVP pools resources from the Denver community and leverages the time and talent of Denver professionals to increase the effectiveness of the nonprofit sector. We cultivate effective philanthropists, strengthen nonprofits, and invest in collaborative solutions – building powerful relationships to tackle our community’s challenges. We are a global network of local partners aligning passion with purpose to build communities intent on solving our most challenging issues. Engaged philanthropy! SVP Denver is a project of the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center
