We have to change the way we produce food for the worlds growing population, in order to sustainably feed the world and minimize the effect on climate. Insects are very efficient in converting biomass to high quality proteins and oils. Its possible produce them in large scales in automated facilities, using side streams from the cereal industry. Thats making them both sustainable and very economically viable.
We have specialized in processing the food for the future. We have developed a new protein food ingredient derived from mealworms. Its 88% percent pure, neutral in taste, white in colour and have promising functional properties.
