Ratél blev stiftet i november 2010. Siden da har virksomheden udviklet 2 kloakfælder, hvoraf den seneste lanceres med et helt nyt koncept i december 2017. Ratél leverer yderligere det innovative Thiim rottespær, udviklet af Christian Thiim. I dag er Ratél ApS ejet af en række nytænkende virksomheder, der arbejder med både elektronik, mekanik og generel forretningsudvikling – en stærk lederkreds, der har mod på at videreudvikle produkter indenfor grøn rottebekæmpelse. Alle Ratéls produkter er patenterede og opfylder den til en hver tid gældende lovgivning, på de markeder hvorpå de udbydes. Der er tale om en mekanisk rottefælde, som er nem at anvende, og som let kan tilpasses de forskellige størrelser kloakrør. Da fælden både fungerer som rottefælde og som mekanisk rottespær, er det muligt at kombinere fælden med et antal rottespær for at etablere et produktkoncept, der yder en effektiv beskyttelse mod indtrængning af rotter i et givet område. Ratél har derfor i dag et unikt produktkoncept til giftfri rottebekæmpelse og rottebeskyttelse, med markedets største og bredeste produktprogram.
