OUR MISSION Women Forward International is a global platform for systemic change in international affairs education, reorienting research towards the principles of unity, collaboration, and service. We create unique partnerships that lead to behavioral changes that advance women to advance humanity. WFI partners with a range of private sector, academic and non-profit clients to identify research critical to human progress, and then pairs teams of graduate international studies students with these organizations to complete that research and implement solutions. WFI also uses the reflective power of Art to reveal and investigate the underlying cultural issues at stake in a given international relations issue and provide the next generation of leaders a more holistic approach to human relationships. WHY AND HOW WE CHOOSE OUR PARTNERS How does Women Forward International select its artist and university partners? We look for artists who dare to do things outside the boundaries of social norms – in order to break free of outmoded and limited mindsets. Our university partners each have faculty dedicated to serving humanity through research. When we bring together service-oriented educators with bold moves of artistic freedom we find that we inspire change – changes in consciousness which lead to changes in behavior and society. As art is relevant to every international relations issue and its forms such as film, music, poetry, and dance hold the power to awaken the heart towards empathy for one’s fellow being, the next generation of leaders is exposed to new templates for human relations and encouraged to act on them.

We are devoted to promoting young Mexican talent in the I&CT’s industry through a fair, sustainable and viable business model. As a responsible organisation, inspired on fair trade and committed in fighting to reduce the digital divide, we focus primarily on young Mexican talent that successfully courses studies in higher education institutions. We develop effective, efficient, friendly and powerful solutions that provide enjoyable experiences to the final user or consumer. We are the first social impact enterprise endorsed by the UNAM and we have the support of the FINNOVA, the Secretariat of Economy, the CONACYT and the Cenapyme. Our management team consists of specialists who have extensive academic and professional backgrounds, and global profiles and experience. We are organised in specialised cells in each part of the processes we undertake to develop solutions: 1. Innovation and Creativity, 2.Technology, 3. Arts, and 4. Quality. For each project, we form atoms that are organically structured to meet promptly every project we accept. The members of the atoms are part of the cells that constitute us in clusters build by specialists for each of the relevant issues we serve. We have strategic links with I&CT’s experts and creators in several countries, including USA and Japan, to name a few. This allows us to be advised by the best of the best and therefore develop solutions based on the best practices and the best technologies available in the global market.

The Lifeboat Foundation is a nonprofit nongovernmental organization dedicated to encouraging scientific advancements while helping humanity survive existential risks and possible misuse of increasingly powerful technologies, including genetic engineering, nanotechnology, and robotics/AI, as we move towards the Singularity. Lifeboat Foundation is pursuing a variety of options, including helping to accelerate the development of technologies to defend humanity such as new methods to combat viruses, effective nanotechnological defensive strategies, and even self-sustaining space colonies in case the other defensive strategies fail. We believe that, in some situations, it might be feasible to relinquish technological capacity in the public interest (for example, we are against the U.S. government posting the recipe for the 1918 flu virus on the internet).
