Distran develops and sells ultrasound cameras able to "see"​ ultrasounds: each of the 124 ultrasound sensors on the camera perceives incoming sounds with a slight shift of a fraction of a milliseconds. This allows the algorithms inside the camera to compute back the position of the sound source and to display it in real-time to the user. The principle is similar to antenna arrays used by astronomers or the military. Here, the device is hand-held and allows industrials to quickly spot faults such as gas leak in their installation, often comprising hundreds of kilometers of pipes and thousands of potentially leaky elements. Beyond cost savings, this tool enables to increase industrial safety and decrease emission of green house gases.

Industry generates hazardous and toxic flows that are not easy to process. Until today, most of these wastewaters go on transport for incineration, which is 100% destructive and has a negative CO2 impact. 💧 ♻️ Inopsys develops mobile and modular installations for the on-site treatment of side streams like these, to reduce CO2 impact, generate clean water, and by recovering valuable raw materials, work towards a circular economy. Thanks to Inopsys’ on-site treatment installations, this linear and destructive approach is transformed into a circular and sustainable process. Process streams that were previously regarded as waste are now, by combining the right technologies, treated and customized with the recuperation of valuable components as a final result. APIX Analytics (SA), a startup incorporated in June 2014, is the commercial emanation of 8 years of collaborative research between CEA (France) and California Institute of Technology (Caltech, USA). APIX is focused on the development of highly miniaturized multigas analyzers systems based on integration on silicon of traditional analytical chains: sampling, injection of gases, separation of complex gas mixtures to enhance specificity and then detection, identification and quantification of each mixture compound

We want to provide people living with diabetes with an intelligent therapeutic system to regulate blood glucose. This project was initiated in 2011 by the CERITD (Centre d’Études et de Recherches pour l’Intensification du Traitement du Diabète) in collaboration with the CEA LETI. After the success of the clinical trials in 2014, we created Diabeloop to bring the project to market and make it available to the largest number of people. Since spring 2021, DBLG1 System, the first automated insulin delivery device, is being marketed in several European countries: Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands and France.
