Swiss Healthcare Startups is a non profit organisation that supports innovative startups that aim to add value to the Swiss healthcare ecosystem. We support the startups by providing meaningful exposure and facilitating access to relevant stakeholders. With that we help accelerate and develop new startup ideas in the fields of novel healthcare models, digital health, medtech, patient driven medical services and other healthcare (related) fields.

What We Do Events The Swiss-American Society holds monthly luncheons in Zurich with talks by key people from the worlds of business, education and politics, mostly relating to the USA. There are also a number of evening cultural events. Scholarships The Swiss-American Society donates up to 20,000 Swiss Francs a year to scholarships. These donations are intended as additional financial study resources for studying and graduating in the USA and are aimed at Swiss, or non-Swiss candidates with several years’ ties to Switzerland. How to Become a Member The Swiss-American Society has several hundred members, who take part in the activities of the Society or simply manifest their friendship and bond to the USA in this way. Membership requires a written application to the Board. Each application must have the recommendation of one current member. Applications can be submitted online: https://www.swiss-am.net/?lang=en Ordinary members Citizens of Switzerland and the USA as well as persons, firms and associations that maintain relations with both countries or take interest in the activities of the Society can become members. Scholarship Fund The Swiss American Society relies on donations and gifts in order to bestow the scholarship grants. The Society is always pleased to receive additional contributions that support this important activity.

Der Tröckneturm ist ein ehemaliges Fabrikgebäude im Quartier Lachen in der Schweizer Stadt St. Gallen. Das Gebäude steht als «Kulturgut von nationaler Bedeutung» unter Schutz. Im Jahr 1997 wurde die «Stiftung Tröckneturm» gegründet, deren Zweck darin besteht, das Gebäude «in seinem historischen Bestand für die Öffentlichkeit zu erhalten und als Stätte der Begegnung einzurichten». Zur Verfügung steht ein Begegnungsraum (80 m2), welcher für 50 - 60 Personen Platz bietet. Für weitere Auskünfte stehen wir Ihnen via info@troeckneturm.ch gerne zur Verfügung.
