Reliabl has built innovative community-led data annotation technology into their AI infrastructure software in order to reduce AI bias and improve algorithmic performance. While most ethical AI research currently focuses on the importance of inclusive data sets, many have failed to account for the role that biased data annotation plays in perpetuating negative ML experiences for marginalized communities. The Reliabl team is composed of academic researchers and industry executives who have spent the past 10+ years researching and raising awareness about this problem, and now they have built an in-demand, research-backed software to address this challenge at scale.
