TETmedical, Inc. (Tethered Enzyme Technologies) is a clinical stage platform nanomedicine company focused on in vitro diagnostics that enable insights for high-consequence disease decision making. TET emerged out of groundbreaking innovations originating at Cornell University. Our device measures less than a hundredth the width of a human hair. It is a miniature, functioning, highly stable molecular machine, capable of performing chemical operations with high sensitivity, stability, and speed (thousands of times faster than antibody assays): a patented “TET nanobot”, consisting of thousands of enzymes tethered to a silica nanoparticle. TETmedical’s first product is the NSE-FAST (Neuron Specific Enolase Functional Activity Stroke Test), the first in-vitro diagnostic for brain injury from stroke.

ClearCut Surgical was created by surgeons for surgeons to solve a universally frustrating operating room problem: how to manage fluid buildup during tissue electrocautery. Through surgeon-driven innovation, ClearCut has developed a novel electrocautery surgical tool with continuous smoke evacuation and on-demand fluid suction.

AtlasXomics, a 2020 Yale spin-out, is helping researchers understand the delicate epigenetic interplay and networks between cell types in their native environment that drives pathogenesis. We have helped over 50 investigators in oncology, aging, and neuroscience among other fields to locate and characterize driving epigenetic mechanisms in the tissue microenvironment. These mechanisms underly disease states and treatment responses. AtlasXomics combines epigenomics (spatial ATAC-seq and spatial CUT&Tag) with histology to provide insight that is often missed by bulk or single cell genomic tools. Our technology is primed for multi-omics studies in the same tissue section that uniquely positions us to identify and verify functional epigenetic mechanisms with proteome and transcriptome output. Mapping the cellular environment with an unbiased epigenome focus is needed to bring research closer to ground truth in diseased tissue to improve success rates for therapeutic interventions.
