DinTel består i grund och botten av sammanslagningen mellan 2 olika entreprenörsgrupper som tillsammans har lång erfarenhet att telekomlösningar, främst för företag. Sammangåendet har skett mellan en av de största dataleverantörerna och en av de största återförsäljarna av tal och telefonväxel i Sverige, detta resulterade i DinTel.
