Cement industry Magsort has developed a dual component solution for using steel slag to lower the CO2 footprint of cement production. A CO2 reduction of up to 50 % means significant savings on carbon credits and an ability to tap into unmet demand for low-CO2 cement. Waste-to-energy Our solution allows waste-to-energy plants to recover the previously unavailable metals left in their incinerator bottom ash (IBA). The ability to dry process finer fractions unlocks more of the precious metals, resulting in three times as much value, without having to deal with wastewater from wet milling.
