QREAN is a health-tech startup dedicated to modernizing how medicinal information is delivered, accessed, and experienced. Our mission is to enable the gradual removal of traditional Patient Information Leaflets (PILs) from medicinal packaging and replace them with a fully digital, compliant, content-rich, and user-centric solution: the Unified Medication Interface (UMI). Japan has already demonstrated that this transition is achievable. Between 2019 and 2024, regulatory reform and industry collaboration enabled the large-scale adoption of electronic medicinal information systems. With the right commitment from regulators, industry, and stakeholders, Europe could reach a similar level of maturity by 2028–2029. We believe this change is not only possible—it is necessary.
