FIN - Foreningen for innovasjonsselskaper i Norge er en interesseorganisasjon for innovasjonsselskaper fra hele landet. Medlemmene er forsknings- og kunnskapsparker, teknologioverføringskontorer og kommersialiseringsaktører (TTOer/KA), klynger, inkubatorer og testsentre. Flere har egne akseleratorprogrammer, investeringsvirksomhet eller tette relasjoner til kapitalmiljøer og private investorer. FIN er en bransjeforening i Abelia - NHOs forening for kunnskaps- og teknologibedrifter.

VIS contributes to solve societal challenges efficiently, making sure that knowledge and ideas quickly turns in to benefits for ours society at large. Researchers, entrepreneurs and established businesses contact VIS with challenges and ideas that we develop together. Our ambition is to be the natural supporter of scientists, entrepreneurs and students with results or ideas. The goal is for the idea to be viable in the future, and to deliver better services, products or processes to society VIS has the collaborative skills required for the Western Norway’s ecosystem for innovation, innovation and growth to have both the width, focus and ambition. Our business developers and consultants will facilitate providing relevant advice, linking different environments, implementing projects, and allowing you to leverage our extensive expertise. -VIS gives advice: We have extensive expertise in advising on business development and innovation. -VIS is a network builder: We find partners and funding for entrepreneurial projects and research-based innovation projects. -VIS conducts: We carry out new establishments and innovation processes. VIS is the new name for Bergen Technology Transfer Office (BTO), which was established in 2004. VIS is an acronym and the name carries with it both wisdom and a call to showcase good ideas and value creation. VIS is owned by the University of Bergen, Haukeland University Hospital, Institute of Marine Research, Siva, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, and NHH Norwegian Business School. In addition, we have eight partners: Christian Michelsen Research 7 NORCE, Uni Research / NORCE, Haraldsplass Diakonale Hospital, Helse Fonna, Sogn og Fjordane Knowledge Park, Nofima and Sjukehusapoteka Vest.

Sarsia is an early-stage venture capital investor based in Bergen, Norway. We invest in science-based technology companies within blue economy / cleantech and green tech / deep tech and biotechnology/life sciences. Our strength lays in our technological competence, experience and extensive national and international network of industry and co-investors. Sarsia Seed Fund I started in 2007 is in the closing phase, after four IPOs, one SPAC out of the total 22 portfolio companies. 1bEUR has been created in shareholder value in the portfolio of Fund I since Sarsia entered as first institutional investor. Sarsia Seed Fund II has been operational since 2017. The total committed capital is 510 mnok, of which more than half has been called. Fund II is towards the end of its investment phase and has invested in 17 portfolio companies. Sarsia Fund III commenced operation in 2023, with a total committed capital of 367 mnok, and has entered its investment phase.
