With about 16,000 students, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL) is one of the largest higher education institutions in Norway. The new institution offers a broad range of academic programmes at Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD levels. The ambition is to build stronger and more solid academic and research environments who will interact nationally and internationally. The aim is to become a visible actor on the international higher education arena through increased international cooperation and engagement in externally funded projects within education and research. Students at undergraduate and postgraduate level have access to high quality exchange opportunities abroad and staff-mobility is be encouraged. Because of the merger, a process of renegotiating all international agreements will start from 2017 as part of an assessment of existing international links and cooperation in the new institution.

Anlegg og Marine Service AS was established in 1985 and have more than 30 years of experience in sales and service of Caterpillar engines. We are also sales and service partners for Cummins and Detroit Diesel off-highway and marine engines as well as Yanmar, Mitsubishi, Volvo Penta and MTU commercial marine engines. Our well equipped facilities include a modern workshop, part store holding more than 10 000 engine components and an engine test cell with water brake equipment capable of handling mechanical loads up to 1900kW.

By facilitating green mobility, Kolumbus will make Rogaland a better place to live. We will inspire people to cycle, walk and travel by public transport whenever they can, and use their car only when they have to. Choosing Kolumbus should be easy and give your environmental consciousness a great boost. To achieve that, we have to take responsibility for the whole journey, from door to door. Bus, boat, local train and city bike are our core services. But we will also ensure seamless integration with cycling and walking, and we will facilitate good transitions between our offer and other green mobility offers. Consideration of the customers is paramount for how we develop our services. We must understand the customers wishes, needs, barriers and travel patterns, and we will use this insight to develop an offer that makes it easy to leave the car behind. Our foundation is the consideration of the environment, sustainability and social responsibility. This is how Kolumbus is making a sustainable contribution to the zero-growth goal. During the work week, approximately 110,000 daily journeys are made with Kolumbus. The actual transport by bus and boat is carried out by operating companies under contract for Kolumbus. We have approximately 450 buses, 10 speedboats and 3 ferries at our disposal.

Iverson eFuels AS is established to develop large scale production of green ammonia in Sauda, Norway. Together with the local community and national authorities we are developing the future of green industry. We are planning development of a large scale, green ammonia plant, deploying industrial use of electrolysis and ammonia technology at Sauda, Norway. Sauda has over a century of industrial history and a unique competence that is needed to build the industry of the future. The global economy needs a clean and reliable source of energy and our product plays a major part in the transformation of new and green energy. Iverson eFuels AS is owned by Hy2gen, an international company designing, building and operating facilities to produce green hydrogen and green hydrogen-based derivatives, Trafigura, one of the world’s leading independent commodity trading companies and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), a significant green infrastructure investment fund. The consortium plans to invest significant capital in the production, storage and shipping facility which will bring jobs to the local community. Together with Norconsult, a pre-study was completed in 2021 and the project owners have now started the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase, resulting in a full plan for the construction of the facility by 2023. Following a final investment decision, the commencement of construction is scheduled in 2024, and the facility will be fully operational in 2027. The Iverson project will have an initial production of approximately 600 metric tons of green ammonia per day, with the aim to scale up production in the future. The green ammonia will supply the shipping industry with a zero-carbon alternative marine fuel to traditional fossil fuels.

The usage of carbon free hydrogen is a game changer and 
can decrease carbon emissions significantly. This applies for industries, transport and mobility. Hy2gen AG will produce carbon free hydrogen, ammoniak and eFuels worldwide and support the drive to save our climate. Hy2gen AG is already worldwide in the leading position.
