LAUNCHub Ventures is a leading early-stage venture capital fund, supporting technology startups in the Seed and Series A funding stages. We invest in Central and Southeastern Europe (SEE & CEE), as well as in companies built by ambitious founders from that region who are based in the leading startup hubs around the world. Our initial investments are between €300K and €2M, leading investment rounds up to €4M. We also have the capacity to continue supporting the funding needs of our portfolio companies in future rounds. We are looking for scalable businesses with initial traction and passionate founders originating from South-Eastern Europe and the broader CEE region. We are valued by our portfolio companies not just for the money we invest, but for the wide variety of assistance we provide to move a venture forward. Many of our portfolio companies have already benefited from our Series A academy program, helping them reach their milestones and successfully raise follow-up A rounds. Bulgarian Angels Club (ex-CEO Angels Club) is a group of senior executives and entrepreneurs related to Bulgaria investing their own money in early stage startups in return for equity. Our members make their own investment decisions and they can invest together or individually. They also provide expertise, contacts and pro-active mentorship to increase company value. The Club looks for early stage, normally post-accelerator startups that are highly scalable and that can show us how the company will get to break-even or to a clear meaningful mile stone (e.g.Seed or Series A.Funding) within 12-24 months on the basis of our one-time investment. This typically means smallish teams (2 to 5 people), with serious domain expertise and a product that is either currently in the market or already in beta.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria is a leading business organization uniting over 330 American, Bulgarian and multinational companies operating in the country. The overall presence of the U.S. investments in Bulgaria comprise of more than 11% of the FDIs. The Chamber was established in December 1994. The American Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to strengthen economic relations between U.S. and Bulgarian commercial enterprises within the framework of the U.S.- European transatlantic economic relations, as well as to further improve the business climate in Bulgaria.
