The Georgetown Angel Investor Network (GAIN) is the only official Georgetown University investor network. The network works in partnership with university-wide entrepreneurial efforts, including the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Initiative. Alumni volunteers manage GAIN, as a function of the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Alliance and the Georgetown University Alumni Association. GAIN helps to amplify the Georgetown start-up ecosystem with an innovative and inclusive angel investing network that engages and leverages the power of the diverse and global Georgetown alumni community.

Uma empresa paulistana, a Apothek tornou-se referência em alta coquetelaria e pioneira no mercado de coquetéis engarrafados. Fundada com a assinatura de Alexandre D’Agostino, a empresa lançou sua primeira linha de coquetéis engarrafados para venda online. Em 2017 fundaram o Apothek Bar, na região de Pinheiros, em São Paulo, premiado melhor bar de São Paulo pela revista VEJA COMER & BEBER 2019 – edição em que o sócio-fundador e bartender Alexandre D’Agostino também foi premiado melhor Bartender do ano. Em 2020, essas verticais tornaram-se independentes e a Apothek Cocktails assume operações de bar e eventos. Feito por humanos inquietos.

Created by Michelle Lima and Paula Proushan, Blue Bird add a stylish touch - the Brazilian je ne sais quoi - to any feet waiting to be adorned. The label was born out of a desire to create a flawless and democratic shoe. Both founders had plenty fashion and footwear in their DNA: Michelle had worked in the shoe industry in Brazil and abroad since she was 17, under renowned brands like Alexandre Birman and Forum, while Paula had made a career in the international fashion industry, working for the likes of Vera Wang. When they were introduced to each other, they decided it was time they created their own venture together. Joining their impeccable taste to years of expertise, Michelle and Paula betted on the loafer - a classic shoe that is comfortable, elegant and shows "just the right amount of feet"​. Needless to say, Blue Bird loafers are a specie of their own. Michelle and Paula spent one year developing them, thinking of every imaginable detail. Every shoe is made through an artisanal process inspired by traditional Italian shoemaking, which involves a total of 32 craftsmen. They spend a full day being molded, which ensures that they conform to any feet. The inside of the shoe is entirely lined with fine leather. For the insole, the founders wanted to develop something unique and extremely comfortable – as comfortable as the bed they sleep on every night, literally! That is why she developed a partnership with a German mattress company to create a special, thicker-than-usual insole made with the same technology as its mattresses. This is why laying your feet onto a BB shoe is such a soothing experience. These are details that the eye cannot see, but that the feet can certainly feel - and be thankful for. And, if what you find inside a Blue Bird is incredible, what you see on the outside is even more! The shoes of each collection are original and tell their own story, which incorporates a mix of the designers​ enchantment with Brazil and their global outlook.
