Founded in 2009 by Alex Matisse, East Fork is now a team of 120 and growing, with brick and mortars in Asheville & Atlanta, and pots on the tables of dozens of restaurants across the country.

At Heath Ceramics, we design, manufacture and sell dinnerware and architectural tile of good and enduring design. We believe in the benefits of local manufacturing and support a growing community of people committed to and inspired by the process of designing, making and sharing. We have a very diverse workplace of 200 employees (and growing) that encompasses manufacturing, retail, design, communications, digital, and administrative functions. All this led to us receiving the Cooper Hewitt 2015 National Design Award for Corporate & Institutional Achievement. While Heath is home based in the Bay Area with two factories and 3 locations, we also have a showroom and studio in Los Angeles.
