Agronod is the company behind the national data platform for sharing agricultural data. Here, Swedish farmers and the industry can choose to collect and share data – on the farmer’s terms. The farmer chooses what data to share, to whom and for what purpose. With the platform as a foundation, it will be easier to create solutions that strengthen Swedish agriculture. One example of this is the climate calculation tool Agrosfär, which retrieves data from the Agronod platform. The Agronod platform, as well as the climate calculation tool Agrosfär, is developed with support from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. The company Agronod is jointly owned by Lantmännen, Växa, LRF, Hushållningssällskapet, Arla Sverige and Scan.

As the challenges facing us as a society become increasingly complex, innovation alone is not enough; you need a strong innovation partner who can provide comprehensive support and a broad range of perspectives. This is where RISE comes in. RISE is a unique mobilisation of resources to increase the pace of innovation in our society. By gathering a number of research institutes and over a hundred test beds and demonstration environments under the umbrella of a single innovation partner, we create improved conditions for society’s problem solvers. We gather around challenges and organise ourselves accordingly. Together, specialists in disparate fields innovate and resolve tough problems. Depending on the nature of the challenge and our assignment, we take on a variety of roles in the innovation system, and develop new ones as and when required. We are owned by the Swedish State and work in collaboration with and on behalf of the private and public sectors and academia. Together, we develop services, products, technologies, processes and materials that contribute to a sustainable future and a competitive Swedish business community.

Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program - Humanities and Society (WASP-HS) is a national research program in Sweden. The program enables cutting edge research, expertise, and competence building to foster interdisciplinary knowledge about how artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous systems impacts humanity and society. To do this, six building blocks are in place, an extensive research program – funding research on the multidisciplinary topic of the impact of artificial intelligence and autonomous systems on humanity and society, a national research program – educating young researchers. The building blocks also include capacity building and recruitment, outreach and collaboration with society, as well as international partnerships and activities. The Wallenberg Foundations are investing up to SEK 660 million in the WASP-HS research program which is planned to run until 2028.

Like all great stories it always begins with a true enthusiast. Our wallpaper story begins with grandfather Folke Herder who in 1925 started working in a wallpaper shop at the age of seventeen. Today the company group is run by the third generation. We design, produce and sell wallpaper to consumers and businesses in over 50 countries. We sell online and have a global partner network with resellers, interior designers and distributors. We value craftsmanship and good quality and our goals are always long term. Sustainability is not a trend for us, it’s a way of living and we respect our heritage but we are driven by innovation and solidarity. We know it’s our employees, partners and customers that together makes it possible to create beautiful walls.
