Hemisfair Park Area Redevelopment Corporation (HPARC) was formed by the San Antonio City Council and tasked with acquiring property, planning, developing, constructing, managing, maintaining and financing projects within and near Hemisfair. A former World's Fair site, Hemisfair is transforming into a vibrant and inviting urban parks district. This includes restoration of historic buildings, creating and re-establishing street and right of ways, adding thousands of new residences and parking space and hundreds of thousands of square feet of new retail. All of this in addition to tripling the amount of usable parkland to more than 18 acres. Hemisfair is Where San Antonio Meets! Facebook.com/Hemisfair Twitter and Instagram: @Hemisfair
