Forge was founded in 2008 by Tim Reese. Tim serves as a consultant and independent director within the financial industry. He currently works with public pension plans and as an independent director and advisor to public and private institutions. Tims depth of knowledge encompasses more than 28 years. He has worked on both the buy- and sell- side within finance. His roles consisted of executive operations and leadership, chief investment officer, head of distribution, and deal sourcing. Currently he is the chief executive officer at Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System (PMRS) and holds several board seats. He was the former Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania where he directed a $20B investment portfolio. He was a managing director of Investment Banking at Quoin Capital, where he co-sponsored $1B of debt funding. His board duties included serving as public director on large global asset management firms and to private ventures. Having started his career as an engineer for Honeywell, he was exposed to deep tech at an enterprise level before transitioning to private venture in 2002. He was responsible for developing the software and systems to advance industry. With the global advancement of technology, his skills has provided a great addition to his clients.
