Forge was founded in 2008 by Tim Reese. Tim serves as a consultant and independent director within the financial industry. Currently he is the chief executive officer at Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System (PMRS) and holds several board seats. He was the former Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania where he directed a $20B investment portfolio. He was a managing director of Investment Banking at Quoin Capital, where he co-sponsored $1B of debt funding. His board duties included serving as public director on large global asset management firms and to private ventures. Having started his career as an engineer for Honeywell, he was exposed to deep tech at an enterprise level before transitioning to private venture in 2002. He was responsible for developing the software and systems to advance industry. With the global advancement of technology, his skills has provided a great addition to his clients.
