The regeneration and protection of these ecosystems provides critical habitat for countless species, sustainable long-term employment for local communities, and protects those communities from storm surges and sea-level rise. On Earth Day 2021 we announced our first major Seatrees milestone 1 Million SeaTrees planted. Were working hard to find quality new projects where we can work together to plant the next Million SeaTrees. Longer-term, our goal is to support 100 blue-carbon projects in threatened coastal ecosystems by 2030, in-turn becoming a global leader in developing blue-carbon projects.
