Countless studies have linked pesticides to cancer, Alzheimers Disease, ADHD, birth defects and they pose serious risks to our nervous and reproductive system functions. Environmentally they are polluting fresh water sources and creating havoc in biological and wildlife ecosystems.

Baryon is commercializing revolutionary building cooling technologies that are 50-85% energy efficient compared to traditional air conditioners. Global energy demand growth from cooling through 2050 is 37% of total energy demand growth, the single largest category. Cooling accounts for 10% of all global energy consumption today. Deployment of Baryon systems has the potential to the carbon footprint of cooling by up to 85%. Our technologies are critically needed in order for the world to get to net zero carbon by 2050.

Everyone with reduced mobility should have access to assistive devices that are safe, advanced, and affordable. Our journey began with the desire to use technology to help people with reduced mobility in our families and communities to enjoy greater freedom and independence. We learned that electric wheelchairs are over-priced and in short-supply, putting them beyond the reach of most people who are not wealthy or well-insured. We also learned that most electric wheelchairs use decades-old technology and are very heavy, with batteries that recharge slowly, limiting their range and preventing them from also being used manually when needed.

NLD is a collective of Black professionals and volunteers from across the UK, USA and African continent working together to establish intentional communities in the motherland. With countless members of the diaspora increasingly interested in emigrating to Africa, Next Level Developments provides a supportive hub and program to enable members to realise their goal of either relocating or investing in the development of the continent.
