CarpeCarbon is an Italian innovative startup working on a new Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology able to remove large amounts of CO2 using only renewable energy. CarpeCarbons solution proves that it is possible to remove CO2 from the air avoiding the high energy needs of traditional DAC technologies, cutting down both capture costs and environmental impacts. Removing CO2 from the atmosphere is not an alternative to cutting emissions or an excuse for delaying the clean energy transition, but is required in order to meet net zero targets in every future climate scenario. We create and patented a new electric motor and power transmission technology, which allows both high torque, hence higher power and incredible compactness. We applied our technology to the ebikes field. Our first product is a retrofit mid drive kit, which can be installed on any bike frame. This small device can develop power from 250W up to 1500W and torque up to 200Nm We have developed recently a new OEM motor, for specifically designed frames , which is a new benchmark in the electric bike field Thanks to the innovativeness of our technology we received several awards: - Best Automotive start-up , Ford Motor company price at CES 2015 - Best italian mechatronic start up 2016 - Edison pulse award 2017
