Genesis provides UT Austin students with mentors, investment experience, and early stage funding. The leadership team participates alongside established mentors to help source, screen, select, and support early stage innovators. Funding applicants can be student entrepreneurs of any degree level from any college. Applications are assessed for product, market, and execution viability, among other factors. Capital distributions are 100% philanthropic and no equity is retained. Amounts will vary per application and assessment.
