Ucaneo is building the backbone of the carbon economy. Carbon is one of the worlds most important industrial commodities. It is essential for fuels, chemicals, materials, and manufacturing. Today, this carbon comes primarily from fossil resources. Tomorrow, it wont. As economies decarbonize, traditional sources of carbon disappear while demand for carbon remains. At the same time, demand for durable carbon removal, sustainable fuels, resilient supply chains, and energy security continues to grow. This creates the need for entirely new carbon infrastructure. Ucaneo is building that infrastructure. Our electrochemical Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology removes CO₂ directly from ambient air and produces high-purity carbon for permanent storage and the production of sustainable fuels, chemicals, and materials. By combining low energy demand, high CO₂ purity, and renewable energy flexibility, Ucaneo enables carbon removal and sustainable carbon supply at industrial scale. Founded in Berlin in 2022, Ucaneo is deploying the next generation of industrial carbon removal infrastructure to power the future carbon economy.
