Culture and community are at the heart of everything we do — which is why for our first outpost outside Los Angeles, we chose the vibrant, cosmopolitan Portobello Road in Notting Hill.
When we created Trejo’s Tacos, our goal wasn’t to compete with LA’s rich Mexican food scene. Instead, we wanted to carve out our own style and voice, while honouring LA’s incredible Mexican culinary roots.
Our menu blends authentic, traditional ingredients with global influences, bringing bold new flavours to the table. Much like Los Angeles itself — shaped by deep history and diverse cultures — our food is a celebration of that creative melting pot.
For Danny, food has always meant connection: cooking with his mom, family dinners with his kids, on-set meals with friends, and of course — hitting his favourite taco shop after every release (because, in his words, “prison food’s not that great”).
In 2015, during the filming of Bad Ass, a producer asked Danny if he’d partner on a restaurant venture. The answer? A big “Hell yes!” — and today, we’re proud to call ourselves true badass restaurateurs.
