Praveen Kumar is an award winning Chef & Entrepreneur. The winner of numerous awards, including "Chef of the Year" - Asian Restaurant Awards 2020, his restaurant "Tabla" in Perth was the first Indian restaurant in Scotland to be awarded the AA One Rosette. Praveens has followed up this success with his award winning Indian Cook School, teaching people of all cooking abilities how to cook authentic Indian Food. Praveens talents as a chef have also seen him in demand in the media with a variety of appearances on TV cooking shows. Indian Meals are made by Praveen and his team of Chefs, and then blast-frozen for delivery to the B2B and D2C markets. We can be found in over 700 locations around the UK including farm shops, garden centres, delis, holiday parks and hotels, as well as our consumer site praveenkumar.com We believe Indian food should be made naturally as it is in India. Our dishes are made by hand using premium natural ingredients and spices. Vegetables are sourced from our own market garden in Perthshire, complimented with best of British meat, fish and dairy, combined with spices that are grown on Praveen’s parents’ farms in India, to give customers the most authentic dishes. You won’t find any artificial preservatives, additives or colourings added to the meals, just delicious food made with the same ingredients you would find in your own kitchen cupboard. On offer is a large selection of vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free dishes. Our company is committed to reducing our carbon footprint. Our packaging is 100% recyclable and our kitchens in Perth are fully powered by solar energy. Were honoured to support The Akshaya Patra Foundation with our Meal-for-a-Meal scheme.
