財團法人資訊工業策進會已深耕南港軟體育成中心及高雄軟體育成中心多年，累積良好營運績效，於 2014 年起經濟部中小企業處以促參條例模式招標「南港及高雄體軟育成中心共同委託營運」計畫，由資策會取得優先申請人之資格，為延續深耕育成產業之使命，資策會產推處將營運團隊 spin-off 成立資育股份有限公司，同年七月一日起正式接手南港軟體育成中心及高雄軟體育成中心之營運。
資育公司成立迄今以來，承經濟部中小企業處之創育機構政策發展期許，除了積極推動創業育成政策的智庫角色，亦致力於創新中小企業輔導、國內外資源網絡串聯，與市場商機拓展等，成果備受各界的肯定。2023年成立子公司資聯股份有限公司i4i，受經濟部中小企業處委託維運林口新創園，場地面積為10312坪，為期高達十五年的經營時間。

Since 2014, the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs has tendered for the "Nangang and Kaohsiung Software Incubation Centre Joint Entrustment Operation" project in the form of the Promotion of Participation Ordinance, and Innovation to Industry (“I2I”) has obtained the qualification of priority applicants. On July 1 of the same year, it officially took over the operation of Nangang and Kaohsiung Software Center.
Since its establishment, in addition to actively promoting the role of a think tank in the entrepreneurship and incubation policy, the company has also been committed to innovative small and medium-sized enterprise counseling, domestic and foreign resource network connection, and market business opportunity expansion, etc., and its achievements have been recognized by all walks of life. In 2023, a subsidiary Innovation for Industry Co., Ltd. (i4i) is established, entrusted by the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration of Ministry of Economic Affairs to maintain the Taiwan Startup Terrace, with a site area of 10,312 pings and a period of up to 15 years of operation.
