ANNUAL COPENHAGEN STREET AND MUSIC FESTIVAL SINCE 1998 Distortion is the biggest cultural event in Copenhagen with 100.000+ participants and hundreds of activities throughout the city. A five day festival in Copenhagen, that celebrates street life and new dance music. We develop, plan and produce a citywide festival experience for hundreds of thousands of people - both local Copenhageners and tourists. An event that celebrates community, formal and informal city spaces and the free Copenhagen spirit. We do this by transforming the city into a collective venue filled with music, performances, workshops, food, bars, art and installations. In 2023 Distortion celebrates its 25th jubilee and has during that time been a vital part of the city’s transformation into one of Europe's cultural capitals.
