Blue Equity provides capital, knowledge and networks in order to realize value creation in close cooperation with management. Return is generated by making good companies better. Blue Equity was founded on the initiative of SE (one of the largest utilities companies in Denmark) and PFA (one of the largest pension funds in Denmark). SE and PFA are lead investors. The investors also include Bitten & Mads Clausen Foundation (Danfoss), Lind Invest (Danske Commodities), Blue Equitys management team and a few other investors. Blue Equity Management A/S is the management company for SE Blue Equity I K/S (committed capital of DKK 625m) and Blue Equity II K/S (committed capital of DKK 707m), which are fully invested, and Blue Equity III K/S (committed capital of DKK 750m), which is currently being invested. The committed capital is from Danish investors. There is an even distribution between pension funds, industrial investors and funds.
