Sold to Nordic Group AthGene is on a mission to help change the way people think about their diet and fitness by providing the public with access to interpretations of their specific gene variants, so that they may be better informed as to how they can more efficiently try to lead a healthy and balanced lifestyle. A problem for most fitness enthusiasts is their inability to design a lifestyle that includes appropriate meals and exercises, as they have to always second guess their chosen diets and exercise routines. Many rely heavily on the advice of “social media wellness gurus”, but this is not suited to the individual’s genetic setup and dietary needs. And this is where AthGene comes in. AthGene will help people clarify what to eat in order to optimise their fitness training and subsequently improving their wellness.
