Seismi addresses the challenge to continuous monitoring of vital signs in animal through a low cost IoT Seismograph based vital signs monitor that detects activity, and vital signs such as heart rate, respiration rate, of a subject in enclosure, on exam table, or on operating table. Traditional methods often involve manual monitoring or attachment of invasive devices, leading to disruptions in the recovery process and potential risks for the animals health. Additionally, the lack of real-time data availability poses challenges for veterinarians in detecting early signs of distress or complications, resulting in suboptimal patient care.
