Taika3D was formed out of the desire to accelerate the process of O&P design. With a growing demand for custom O&P devices, design time became a barrier to supplying custom devices and scaling up the company. A revolutionary method for production was needed, taking into account speed and precision. This was the genesis of Taika 3D, creators of a design automation system to mass-produce custom-fitted, individually designed O&P devices. Doctors today spend hours during Endoscopic Procedures looking at the LCD screens in order to explore, examine and treat various conditions. At Magentiq Eye we put the growing power of Deep Learning, Image and Video Processing to the help of doctors, so they can be more accurate and effective - ultimately saving millions of lives and billions of dollars. Our first product is MAGENTIQ-COLO™, which is used to increase the polyp (Adenoma) detection rate and the quality of the colonoscopy and Upper GI examinations, is a real-time device adjunct to the colonoscopy/gastroscopy device. Our MAGENTIQ-COLO™ points out the suspicious locations of polyps in the colonoscopy video, increases the attentiveness of doctors during procedures, thus helps them to reduce their polyp miss-rates. Given the large population that annually undergoes colonoscopy, even a modest decrease in polyp miss-rate can save a lot of lives! The MAGENTIQ-COLO™ has a CE Mark and FDA clearance and the pivotal multicenter international clinical trial on it was finished with successful results and published at the Lancet Digital Health (https://www.thelancet.com/journals/landig/article/PIIS2589-7500(23)00242-X/fulltext). Its extended version includes additional features such as polyp size estimation, polyp characterization additional quality measurements calculations for Upper and Lower GI, and monitoring the progress of specific diseases such as IBD and Barretts.
