Unciphered is an advanced cryptocurrency recovery company, founded in 2021 by Eric Michaud and three other veterans of the information security, cryptography, and blockchain technology industries. After successfully recovering over $10M worth of cryptocurrency at a previous company, Eric realized that the nascent wallet recovery industry was entirely focused on brute-forcing passwords for software wallets when a more sophisticated approach would produce better results for wallet owners. Unciphered was created as the first company providing services for opening locked hardware cryptocurrency wallets. Unciphered offers a secure chain-of-custody, world-class hardware forensics engineers, with a state of the art in-house lab. Unciphered is a Delaware LLC with offices in San Francisco, San Diego and Washington, DC.

Off The Chain is fundamentally about building a community around the technologies and tools that support blockchain functionality and its applications.
