BANA Angels is the first and most active Angel Network in Armenia. The members of BANA Angels represent a diverse and experienced network of leading Investors from a wide range of industries and geography. Besides actively working on the development of the local investment environment, we ran several programs for startups. We kicked off a program in partnership with SAP: SAP Startup Factory by BANA, an acceleration program for B2B startups. SAP is the world’s largest enterprise software provider with around half a million client-base and $150B capitalization. The aim of our program is to provide a platform where our startups can get integrated to SAP and get access to their client-base. We run BANA Startup incubator, tailor made incubator program for early stage startups to boost their growth and support generate customers.

SmartGateVC is a SoCal and Armenia based VC with a focus on early stage investments in Physical AI, Brain-Computer Interfaces and Cybersecurity. SuperAnnotate (the fastest annotation platform and services for training AI), Deep Origin (drug discovery at quantum accuracy) are among our investments (40 investments since 2018). Many of these companies originate from innovation engines such as Harvard, MIT, EPFL, Meta, NASA JPL, and Bosch. Nvidia, Dell, Cisco, Bessemer, Sierra Ventures, AI Fund, and other prominent strategics and VC firms are among our follow-on and co-investors. We invest out of our fund II and our investors include Tim Draper, One Way Ventures, and other high-profile GPs, entrepreneurs, and professionals.

Der Business Angels Club Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. fördert unternehmerisches Handeln und begleitet Gründende auf ihrem Weg in die Selbstständigkeit. Jedes Jahr unterstützen über 120 erfahrene Business Angels mehr als 200 junge Unternehmer und Unternehmerinnen bei der erfolgreichen Entwicklung ihrer Startups. Durch unser Engagement können jährlich mehrere Millionen Euro für die Umsetzung neuer Geschäftsideen mobilisiert werden. Unsere Hauptveranstaltung ist der monatliche PitchingDay, bei dem 6-8 Startups die Möglichkeit erhalten, unseren Business Angels ihre Geschäftskonzepte zu präsentieren. Nach einem 5-minütigen Pitch stellen sich die Teams den Detailfragen der Angels. Im Anschluss kommen alle Teilnehmenden in lockerer Atmosphäre bei Getränken und Fingerfood zusammen. We are a young and innovative IT company with locations in Ludwigshafen / Rhine and Berlin. As a company of the TWL Group, we are working on exciting and strategic projects in various innovative fields, such as cloud solutions and blockchain. Together with partners such as powercloud GmbH, Energy Web Foundation and PricewaterhouseCoopers AG, we are working on software roll-outs and development of new solutions.
