See Beyond the Surface. Qmetrics: Meeting the Promise of Medical Image Analysis. What do you see when you have an ACL tear? Or when you daughter suffers a concussion playing hockey? How does your mother look when diagnosed with Alzheimer’s? A Medical Image can see much more. MRI, X-Rays and CT capture the image of injury or disease from the inside and Qmetrics provides the view. As a trusted, worldwide leader in medical imaging analysis, Qmetrics has the capability to delve deeper into a medical image and detect abnormalities not easily visible to a human eye. Our proprietary software programs provide a unique look into the human body, transforming 2D MR images into colorful, 3D models of anatomic structures, which can be quantitated and manipulated for a greater understanding of disease and injury. AI and Machine Learning Qmetrics’ proprietary software has the deep learning capability that through AI can extract data and measurements, that, with enough data gathered, may predict disease progression or track therapeutic benefits of treatments. The end result is our software’s ability to develop biomarkers of disease onset and progression, as well as staging. This capability may also allow us to monitor therapy efficacy. The data mining and AI capabilities possible allow Qmetrics to delve even deeper into injuries or disease, seeing far beyond the surface of traditional knowledge. Qmetrics automated processes’ allow clients to more cost-efficiently determine therapeutic efficacy of their products and improve clinical trials with precise, reliable and measurable results. Qmetrics’ product line includes Kuvia3D® which is FDA cleared for the display and analysis of DICOM image data to facilitate 3D visualization of joint anatomy for planning surgical and non-surgical therapies. Co-founded by Dr. Saara Totterman and Dr. Jose Tamez-Peña, Qmetrics is based in Pittsford, NY and provides services internationally.
