YouNoodle is a technology engine that powers the global startup programs. We work with corporations, universities, as well as governments. Some use our judging platform to accept, screen and evaluate applicants for competitions or accelerators. Others tap into our global network of talent in order to do brand or technology engagement. We also help governments and policy makers on implementing entrepreneurship programs. Clients include Cisco, Verizon, Marriott Hotels, Stanford BASES, Amazon Web Services, Start-Up Chile, and the Intel Foundation. Over the past 5 years, we have hosted, run and managed 850+ innovation programs globally across enterprises, governments, universities, foundations & accelerators. YouNoodle was founded by Rebeca Hwang and Torsten Kolind in 2010, funded by an international group of business angels. The company was spun off an ambitious project started by Bob Goodson and Kirill Makharinsky in 2007 with support from Peter Thiel (Founders Fund), Max Levchin (PayPal) and Charles Lho (Amicus Group), our founding investor and Chairman of YouNoodle today. This project also spawned Quid (Goodson) and indirectly Ostrovok (Makharinsky).

The Innovation Fund Denmark invests in the development and marketing of knowledge, new technologies and products with the purpose of finding solutions to societal challenges, support business opportunities and strengthen growth, employment and welfare. With the establishment of the Innovation Fund April 1 2014 the Danish research and innovation system was significantly simplified. The Foundation will be offering grants for activities within strategic research, technology and innovation. The budget of the Foundation is close to DKK 1.6 billion in 2014. The Innovation Fund Denmark will contribute to stronger coherency across research, technological development and innovation, including community partnerships focused on product development and innovation.
