Welcome to the Maryland Tech Council. We are a collaborative community that is actively engaged in building strong technology and life science industries by supporting the efforts of our individual members. We are the largest technology trade association in the state of Maryland with over 700 members, and we provide value by giving them a forum to learn, share, and connect. The valuable resources we provide to our members help them reach their full potential as vital members of their communities. Members of the Maryland Tech Council are provided with educational programming taught by industry leaders with a focus on key topics, advocacy at the state and national levels, and a variety of opportunities to participate in both large and small events. Members also have access to our Cost Savings Program where they can choose from our list of reputable companies that provide discounts for business services. We offer an array of benefits that have been chosen to help your business grow. MTC is also able to serve the tech and biotech communities with assets like the Maryland Health Care Product Development Corporation (MHCPDC) and the MdBioLab program. MHCPDC’s goal is to stimulate growth of the biomedical industry in the state through "early stage"​ investment with promising Maryland biomedical and medical technology companies. The MdBioLab program supports a mobile bioscience laboratory that visits Maryland high schools to teach science literacy.

Working collaboratively with districts of all sizes, we deliver scalable, practical web-based solutions that lift the administrative burden from education professionals so they can focus on the most important part of their work: educating children and improving student achievement.

At Operator Relief Fund (ORF), we have made it our mission to bring best-in-class wellness treatment and services to shadow warriors struggling with operator syndrome (PTS). The scars endured from service have impact on mind, body and spirit of the operators and their families. Shadow Warrior fatalities have more than doubled from 2022-2023, mainly attributed to cancer and suicide. It is our passion and duty to help them begin a journey to health and wellness.

TiE DC is the regional chapter of TiE, the largest global organization of entrepreneurs dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation. TiE DC's region extends throughout the Mid-Atlantic, from Richmond to Baltimore, with a centralized focus in the DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia (DMV) area. TiE DC is a recognized leader in promoting entrepreneurship in the region. Our organization passionately believes entrepreneurship is the key to economic development and job growth, and has put forward a bold agenda to expand the base of entrepreneurs, surface new business opportunities by industry sector/emerging platforms, and enhance management training to increase the likelihood of success. TiE's global network is in excess of 11,000 members, with more than 2,500 Charter Members in 60 chapters across 17 countries. TiE’s mission is to foster entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking, and education. Dedicated to the virtuous cycle of wealth creation and giving back to the community, TiE’s focus is on generating and nurturing our next generation of entrepreneurs. In 1997, Reggie Aggarwal and Sanju Bansal founded the Indian High Tech CEO Council to serve entrepreneurs in the greater DC metropolitan area. In 2000, the organization merged with TiE and became a TiE chapter because of our common foundation of entrepreneurship.
