Now a wholly owned subsidiary of BD, Accuri Cytometers, Inc. was founded to address a compelling need: life scientists love the rapid cell-by-cell analysis capability of flow cytometers, but too few have a flow cytometer in their lab. The barriers for most researchers include cost of the instrument, complexity of the software, effort required for maintenance, and the large amount of bench space required for the instrument. With a tight focus on creating an affordable, robust, easy-to-use flow cytometer, our engineering team went back to basic principles and designed an innovative instrument from the ground up to meet our customer-driven specifications.

Inogen is a leading global medical technology company offering innovative respiratory products for use in the homecare setting. Inogen supports patient respiratory care by developing, manufacturing, and marketing innovative best-in-class portable oxygen concentrators used to deliver supplemental long-term oxygen therapy to patients suffering from chronic respiratory conditions. Inogen was founded based on our conviction that oxygen therapy technology was not keeping pace with the desired lifestyles of patients who depended on it to live longer, more fulfilling lives. We estimate that more than 2.5 million patients in the United States and more than 4.5 million patients worldwide use oxygen therapy. Our compact, lightweight and travel-approved portable oxygen concentrators are designed to free patients from heavy tanks, managing tank refills or being tethered to stationary systems. We believe our products allow oxygen therapy patients to reclaim their freedom and independence so that life can be lived in moments, not in minutes left in an oxygen tank. With each step we take to improve our products and service, our customers take another step toward more freedom.
