Established in 2012, the Brown Healthcare Investment Group serves as a unique opportunity to enrich the academic experience of students interested in the intersection of healthcare and finance. With a membership of varying academic backgrounds, BHIG fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and prepares Brown students for careers in healthcare through exposure to healthcare investing. BHIG seeks to build an ecosystem of undergraduates and alumni to provide current students interested in healthcare and investing with mentorship and a better understanding of future career opportunities. Through close collaborations with professors, graduate students, and various undergraduate organizations, BHIG utilizes different perspectives and backgrounds to achieve above-average returns on the ~$50,000 of Brown Universitys endowment that they manage.

Paragon Global Investments (formerly PNG) is an intercollegiate student-run multi-strategy hedge fund with 7 chapters at Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, New York University, Princeton University, the University of Chicago, and the University of Pennsylvania. The organization is dedicated to the development of students in value investing and algorithmic trading. Members of PGI invest $40,000 into public equities across two funds: a long-only value investment fund and a systematic low and mid-frequency algorithmic trading fund.
