MA/U Studio was established in Copenhagen in 2012. Founded by designer Mikal Harrsen and Adam Hall. The company is dedicated to designing and manufacturing functional, timeless and minimalist furniture of uncompromised quality. The collection is characterized by designs that integrate with office spaces as well as private housing. The company is a platform for developing long-lasting designs and potential classics of the future. These designs will be nurtured, refined and marketed for years to come – we are faithful to the designs that enter the MA/U Studio collection. MA/U Studio are about lasting quality. Our purpose is to explore how psychoanalytic thinking can further our understanding of organizations and the wider social influences that impact on them. The insights gained are used to promote and support the development of healthier, more humane and better performing organizations. Our international membership consists of consultants, academics, clinicians, coaches, managers, leaders, students and others who are active in applying psychoanalytic frameworks to inform their work. This diverse mixture of members enables a very rich exchange of ideas, best-practice, theory, knowledge, experience and consultation, managerial and coaching methods that apply psychoanalytic thinking to the workplace.
