Bloom Safe is a coast-to-coast action proposal to weave every evidence-based, proven strand of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention into one federally coordinated initiative to make the United States the safest place to be a kid. Our Mission To mobilize public, private, and faith-based partners behind a comprehensive, evidence-driven blueprint that ends CSA through education, empowerment, and care. Core Objectives (“The Five Pillars”): • Education and Prevention: Building on the success of “Erin’s Law”, implement evidence-based, age-appropriate K–12 CSA prevention curricula including body safety, body autono-my, consent, safe online behavior, and medically accurate human anatomy and physiology in schools nationwide. • Adult Training: Required "Bloom Safe" certification and training for ALL adults who care for and work with children, equipping them to identify, prevent, and respond to CSA appropriate-ly, starting with all mandated reporters. • Public Awareness: Launch a sustained national campaign to break the silence and destig-matize conversations about CSA, inform families and communities about red flags and risk factors, and promote active prevention and reporting. • Survivor Support: Expand trauma-informed, evidence-based, culturally competent services to ensure all survivors have immediate and sustained access to advocacy, medical care, counseling, and community support. • Research and Data: Establish a National CSA Research Hub for ongoing data collection, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, ensuring evidence-based peer reviewed science is the foundation for ongoing improvements in policy and practice.
