La mission de Simplon est de faire du numérique un véritable levier d’inclusion de par l'émergence de nouveaux talents dans le numérique, le développement de compétences clés et la diversification des profils. Fondé en 2013 par Frédéric Bardeau, Andrei Vladescu-Olt et Erwan Kezzar, Simplon.co est inspiré par les premiers bootcamps de la Silicon Valley. Ses fondateurs ont souhaité avec la création de Simplon.co, une version française plus inclusive et gratuite, avec une plus forte représentation des femmes et des recrues de milieux et de territoires différents. Simplon.co est une entreprise de l’économie sociale et solidaire agréée ESUS. Les formations Simplon.co sont des formations financées, certifiantes et diplômantes aux métiers techniques du numérique en forte tension. Ces formations s’adressent en priorité aux jeunes peu ou pas diplômés, aux demandeurs d'emploi, aux personnes réfugiées ou en situation de handicap, ainsi qu'aux femmes généralement sous-représentées dans le secteur de la Tech. En 9 ans d'existence, Simplon a formé 20 000 personnes dont 40% de femmes et 44% de personnes de niveau inférieur ou égal au baccalauréat et cela à travers son réseau de plus de 100 écoles en propre ou en partenariat, en France et à l'étranger. Simplon accompagne également les entreprises dans leur transformation numérique en proposant des formations de montée en compétences ou de perfectionnement à destination des salarié-es.
