We do that by means of meetings, an online community, written articles and research into specific aspects of giftedness. Fonds Podiumkunsten is één van de zes rijkscultuurfondsen en ondersteunt professionele kunstenaars en artiesten bij hun werk. We stimuleren artistieke ontwikkeling, investeren in verdieping en verbreding en financieren het creëren van nieuw werk. Ook maken we het mogelijk dat werk gezien wordt door zoveel mogelijk mensen. Het Fonds is er voor de podiumkunsten in de volle breedte, van popmuziek tot teksttoneel en van circustheater tot musical. Ook stimuleren we het verkennen van grenzen van disciplines. We erkennen het belang van verschillende perspectieven op de beoordeling van subsidieaanvragen. Daarom zorgen we in de adviseurspool voor ruime diversiteit in deskundigheid, gender, leeftijd, woonplaats en culturele achtergrond. Bij de samenstelling van commissies houden we hier ook rekening mee.
