Althea Research is a private organization formed in partnership with CU Anschutz Department of Psychiatry with the goal of expanding psychedelic research in Colorado. The department recently embarked on the first psychedelic clinical trial in Colorado, exploring the effects of psilocybin on anhedonia in treatment-resistant depression. Althea Research is in its infancy and is looking to better understand opportunities in attracting and facilitating clinical trials within the University of Colorado and its affiliates.
