While we actively scout startups in Armenia and Los Angeles, STAN welcomes innovative startups from anywhere in the world. STAN angels provide financial capital, network support and entrepreneurial support to help startups scale. While we focus on ecosystems in Armenia and Los Angeles, our reach spans across global startup communities. Currently, over 70% of STAN Angels are based in California, with 20% in Armenia and 10% in Europe. STAN’s Chapter in Los Angeles Our Los Angeles chapter is established in partnership with Triple S Ventures, a pre-seed to seed-stage VC firm. We welcome non-Armenian founders and angels to collaborate with the chapter. On Fire Labs was founded in 2011 as a small team of creative people trying to incubate and develop some really awesome mobile products. It was repositioned in 2024 as a technology vehicle, to help startups formulate their perfect formula.

Peeples is a mobile, location based, social community (Android OS 1.6 requirement). It uses its userbase to locate people around you and shows them on your map. Those users appear as icons of various colors. Green meaning that the user is online now, orange that he was online more than an hour ago, red more than 3 hours and grey more than 6. You can interact with those users by tapping them with your finger. You then have a list of options, such as: add as friend send message (push messaging) send a picture user details block user Peeples is also highly customizable since it enables you to change the way the application behaves. You can configure the following settings: manually update your location or not use gps if available or not save your map pathing to DB for future review enable notifications (receive notifications about messages when outside of the app) update interval for notifications metric or imperial units time between map refreshes ... If you stumble into a crowd of users while browsing the map you can also make use of the search function, which enables you to filter the users by age, sex, radius around you and username if you know who youre looking for. From there on its up to you if you want to meet them or not. The application is also fully customizable in what details you want to show to other users.
